Almost anyone can tell you where they were on the day of June 25th 2009 at about 5 pm when was confirmed that the King of Pop had passed away. The legacy of the musical icon is one that could consider his death as a world wide tragedy. It's a shame the dominating star had to go in the manner that he did. It seems as if no one remembered his outstanding talents until he was gone. A lot of his accomplishments were overshadowed by accusations of molestation and having a boyish mentality. The accused him of being a overdosed drug addict. However, are those stories what really defined the kind hearted peace activist? Skepticism may cause some to believe that there was foul play in Michael Jackson's death. Those who surrounded Michael said that he would often in the state of paranoia saying things like "They're trying to kill me". Because Michael was such a high figure, were there some people that wanted the artist dead? Why would Conrad Murray participate in his medication problem? Many would try to discredit his career by saying things such as "He's broke", however Michael Jackson owned half of sony up until even right now. Also assets such as Netherlands owning the entire Beatle's musical catalog made that statement impossible. Before thinking of MJ in a negative manner, check the facts. Not every celebrity is what they are made out to be on television. Give MJ the respect he deserves on his memorial day. RIP
