Meek Mill the rapper has a song featuring Drake entitled "Amen" which is causing alot of controversy in the tristate area. The lyrics says a lot things referring to church such as " Its alot of bad b*tches in the building...Amen [Response]!" Then it says things like " Church...Preach" A Philadelphia pastor by the name of Jomo spoke out against him accusing Meek Mill of blaspheming lyrics directed to toward the Christian church. It is creating a lot of debate in Philly and the tri state as the two went on air of the radio channel 107.9 and discussed the issue. Meek Mill (Robert Williams) did not appreciate some of the topics Jomo brought up. Jomo pastors a church on Germantown Ave. Jomo is seeking to create a march for believers in order to protest the playing of that song. Do you think this is right wrong or indifferent.
The facts remain that the lyrics does negatively depicts church terms and use them in worldly context. Blasphemy is proclaimed in the Bible the only sin that God does not forgive. But if Meek does't know, could he be held accountable?
