Midway into both investigations, Magic announced having aids. His case was closed. Jordan announced retirement. Was Magic diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in order to save the NBA's reputation from being sabotaged?Stats showed that in 1994, 70% of all Nba fans were Bull fans because of Michael Jordan. Had the NBA been proven to be fixed...they would have lost 70% of it's fan base with Jordan alone.
